Hello everyone! What a senseless tragedy in Minneapolis yesterday. Two innocent children lost, and many others injured. What has our country our society become? Is there any place that is sacred? Safe? Children are exposed to far too much tragedy at much too young an age. I hope that ALL of you have been praying for the families of all the Children affected.
Here in Highlands County several of us Pastors have been considering our options concerning the unfair tax being levied against us in the form of a “fire assessment”. We have met with a key official yesterday and today we consulted with legal counsel to begin to chart some kind of course. It is too late to do much this year, but we are learning what we can do moving forward from here. A tax by any other name is still a tax.
Our food collection for Manna Ministries for the month of September will be canned vegetable, canned soups, and canned meats (like ham, spam etc.) And the normal easy to prepare items for the Dragons Den.
