Today is Monday, March 2nd, 2026. Please remember to set you clocks ahead one hour on March 7th, 2026 before you go to be so you will not be late for Bible Study and or Church next Sunday.
“Baskets Galore” tickets are available for purchase. There are very beautiful baskets this year with a wide variety of gifts. The cost is $1.00 per ticket, so buy a few. Ask your friends to support our Christ centered pre-school Trinity Tots. All gifts have been provided by donations from parents or businesses who support our program, so businesses for many years.
I will be out of town Friday and Saturday and next Sunday afternoon to Wednesday morning. I will be here for service next Sunday. After service I will be leaving again until Wednesday afternoon. I will be back for Mid-Week Lenten service. As a result of my absences I will be sending out another email later this week with the sermon for March 15th, 2026.
In two week on March 15th we will be starting a new Bible Study on Obadiah and Nahum, two of the Minor Prophets. These like the book of Jude that we are finishing up and Esther which we did previously are books I have never studied in Bible Study. So here in the twilight of my ministry I thought I would endeavor to look at Biblical books that I have not led Bible studies. So I have for a change add the PDF Study guide for those who may not be able to join us, but would like to study the book on your own.
For those who may be wondering we are approaching our goal of $20,000.00 for our 50th Anniversary Capital Fund Drive. We set as goals to purchase a new Carollon to replace that one struck by lightning; purchase a system of sort to solve our substitute organist issue; and give $5,000.00 to the FL/GA District to assist with their goal of $10,000,000.00 to assist professional church work students with tuition and other expenses. So far we have been able to order the Carollon and subscribe to the Lutheran Service Builder digital music library. Thank you to many of you who have given and several major donors. We are laying a foundation for the next 50 years.
