All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,
Good Monday afternoon! There are times when “life is like a box of chocolates”, (Forest Gump) you just do not know what you are going to get or what is going to pop up. These past four months of 2026 have been filled with joys and yes some challenges. Trinity is so blessed with great members, great friends and great lay leaders.
Just when you think you have seen it all, Rural King opens in the county. Wow!! What a store!
Please remember to keep Pastor Olckers in your prayers especially on Thursday as he undergoes eye surgery. We are praying that he has complete or partial sight restored. He really cannot read anything and can make out light and dark and images, but he is not able to focus.
Our webmaster is doing an amazing job with our web page. If you want to check it out go to
Trinity Lutheran Church – Welcome Home. or www.Trinitylp.org. We are getting tremendous visibility and views from around the world including China! Check it out. There is even a link that you can donate to Trinity on line.
Spring is an exciting time for families. There are graduations from all levels of educational institutions. There are weddings of people young and old alike starting new lives and new chapters of their lives together. There are also confirmations, which we will have one confirmation this spring and that will be Nickolas Harris. He is the young man who has stepped up to acolyte and help with ushering. The Confirmation will be on May 30th, 2026 if everything works out. Spring is a time of renewal, refreshment and rejuvination.
I have attached my sermon for next Sunday, Good Shepherd Sunday, which is Susan’s favorite Sunday of the year. So come join us for Bible Study as we examine the book of Jonah. I have attached the second study guide for this subject so you can see what we are doing in class.
