All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,

Susan still has 3 Bibles for graduates that need sponsors. If you took one of the sponsor forms this past Sunday please contact Susan at the office or on her cell phone at 863-441-4169. The Closing Program for Trinity Tots is this coming Sunday at 4:00PM.
Sunday following church I announced that we met and exceeded out goal of $20,000.00 for our 50th Anniversary Offereing. We blew past our goal by $6,700.00. What a blessing our members, our winter residents, our friends from throughout the country past and present are to this congregation. Your generousity has enabled us to purchase a new Carillon/Bell system heard throughout town each day. A new hymnal accompaniant program to use when we cannot find a pianist or organist for Sunday or one of our services. A brand new Bad Boy Elite zero turning radius mower from the new Rural King in Sebring, to be used by our volunteers cutting our grass on our property. Many people are surprised to hear that we own 20 acres of property with frontage on North Mainstreet, Hillcrest Ave and Lakeview street. Finally we will send $5,000.00 to the Florida Georgia District for their new endowment to assist those studying to be new professional church workers, pastors, teachers, deaconesses, organists, etc.
Sadly the infant son of Brian and Kristina Gregg and grandson of Wanda Gregg, Braydon Alexander is back in the hospital with a whole in his heart and other serious complications. His parents are now down to only one working to make ends meet. They also have another son living with them who is in elementary school. There are various challenges that I cannot go into here, suffice it to say that they are being stretched in many ways as they start their lives together. They are now living in Sebring with a rent of $1,400.00 a month. Ideally they would like to move closer to Brian’s job here in Lake Placid and find a place cheaper to rent for the time being. If anyone knows of a place they can rent closer to his job at Dock 633 or anywhere here in Lake Placid let me know.
In support of the family there will be a basket in the narthex the next two weeks for any donation you may be able to make to help this young family during this very difficult time of their lives.
