All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,
Greetings on this October 2, 2026! I just want to say thank you! God has really blessed this congregation with a new spirit of cooperation. People are stepping up and stepping in to new roles and area of responsibility. As they say many hands make light work and that is true in the church as well. It is great timing because the transition that is forthcoming will require people stepping up to take on new responsibilities. Thanks to everyone taking on new roles and faithfully continuing in the work that many of you have done for years moving Trinity Lutheran Church incrementally forward. Like the third verse of “Onward Christian Soldiers” reminds us. . .
Like a mighty army moves the Church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod;
we are not divided, all one body we, one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
Refrain: Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus
going on before!
The October Monthly Newsletter is attached.
Please do not forget to sign up for the bus trip. Next week we open it up to area Lutheran Churches.
The joint Reformation Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Sebring, Florida. Susan has the dinner tickets for after the service.
We will have Holy Communion this Sunday.
Due to my health issues the Dr. has advised me to avoid stressful situations, and he suggested that all I should be doing on Sunday’s is preaching and leading worship. He said we will see how I am when I go back in a month after my arterial gram. So, I am putting off starting Bible Study until Nov. 8th, at 8:30AM. Sorry!
Have a great remainder of your week and see you Sunday…
