What a whirl wind of a weekend this was! On Saturday Susan and her team traveled to the Spring Lake Fall Festival where they had their Brautwurst booth set up and did reasonably well. Then yesterday Martin and Katie Luther showed up in church and explained more about their marriage, children and the challenges that they faced as Martin led the beginning of the Reformation movement. Faith Lutheran hosted the Heartland Circuit Reformation Service. Rev. John Hirst, Pastor Emeritus from Peace, Okeechobee came out of a two year retirement to bring us the message for the service. This was all followed by a wonderful time of fellowship and a German dinner of Brautwurst and Schnitzel.
Please, Please, Please!!! We still have 15 seats available for our bus trip to a very special Christmas Concert Bus Trip. Winter Residents if you are going to be here by December 3rd, invite your friends and come along with us.
The show is the Central Florida Community Arts Choral and Orchestra Concert. The cost is only $40.00 per person for bus and show tickets. Invite you NEIGHBORS you will not regret it. (We are encouraging everyone to eat you BIG meal at lunch and bring a sandwich or some snacks and a beverage for the bus. We will not have time to stop for dinner.)
