All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,

Greetings on this Tuesday afternoon.  I am sorry I am late getting this out it has been a busy day for me.

Baby Brayden Alexander Gregg had successful surgery yesterday.  From what I can figure he was in surgery for nine hours and apparently the doctors were pleased with the progress that was accomplished.

The sad part of this is that he will have to stay in the hospital for perhaps as much about a month.  That is a long time for a young family to be seperated.

My challenge still stands.  Susan and I donated $400.00 and several families have already given.  Perhap this could be a thankoffering for the health and success of yourself or your family.  The members of the family are probably going to have to stay in a hotel and they still have their regular bills and rent to pay.  That is a huge burden for any family.  So please be generous.

Several of you ask me how Pastor Olckers is doing.  All I can tell you what he tells me.  He is supposed to lay flat on his back for as many hours as he can each day and remain calm for 4 weeks.  Prayerfully at the end of the 4 weeks the result of the operation will be fully known.  Please continue to pray for him.

On another subject Glen Lunz did a great job assisting with communion this past Sunday.  Glen and I had a long conversation today and Glen will be stepping in to be one of two Deacons helping with worship on a regular basis each Sunday.  God’s timing is always perfect.

Thank you to the men who came out this morning to reset the sanctuary.  And to the Altar Care committee for resetting the altar area and putting on the Red Pentecost paraments.  We have a great church!

Thanks for what everyone does to make this church a true joy.

I will let you know if we have any new information.
