All Members, Winter Residents, Family and Friends,
Here we are already 10 days into the month of August. It is hard to believe that school starts tomorrow. Tomorrow the busses get fired up, students get dropped off, classrooms fill with new students, teachers and staff taking a deep breath and walking into the class. room. Each year there is a different dynamic in the atmosphere of the schools. Trinity Tots Preschool begin tomorrow as well. Students, parents and teachers will be filling the classrooms and hallways in the morning with some intrepedation, tears, but mostly anticipation. The first week or so is always a period of adjustment and new learning experiences for students and teachers alike. Pray for the students and teachers in your family and those students and teachers, aides here at Trinity Tots as well. Thank you very much.
As we move into the fall months here at Trinity some things will be starting up.
-Sunday morning Bible Study will resume Sunday September 6th, 2026 at 8:30AM. Our study will be on 1 Thessalonians 1:1–10. I have attached the first weeks study guide. The study is a video based study from Right Now Media. I have attached a slide for those of you interested in Right Now Media and other studies they offer and how to access them.
–The Elders meeting for all Elders will be on Thursday August 20th, 2026 at 10:00AM in the back of the church. Please bring your book “The Caring Elder”.
—The Church Council meeting will be August 27th, 2026 at 10:00AM in the back of the church. Please bring you reports.
Susan and I took our three grandaughters to a Choir Concert by the Central Florida Community Arts 200+ voice choir. This is the largest volunteer choir in the country. In December this Choir and the largest volunteer orchestra will combine to present “Believe” a Christmas Concert at Northland Church in Longwood, Florida. It just so happens that our oldest daughter Debbie sings in the Choir and Timothy our oldest son, plays in the 250 piece orchestra. The “Believe” Christmas concert will be Thursday Dec. 3rd and Friday Dec. 4th, 2026. If you would be interested in attending we would need to rent a bus and get the tickets. So please speak to Susan indicating if you are interested. You will be hearing more about this in the weeks ahead. We will need to make a commitment early so we can get a bus reserved tickets purchased.
Well it is the afternoon and I started this at 10:30am. So I gues I am thought out for this week.
